GETTING STARTED

Yes. Complete beginners start at A1.1. Learners with previous knowledge take the placement test.

Complete beginners start at A1.1 with no test needed. If you have
studied French before, take the placement test for a recommended
starting level. The recommendation does not restrict which class you
can choose.

A laptop, tablet or phone with a stable internet connection, and a
browser or the meeting app we use. Headphones with a microphone make
a real difference, since you speak in every class.

COURSES AND LEVELS

The intensive A1–B2 pathway is designed for approximately 12–18 months. Progress depends on attendance, practice, assessments and stream and student availability. Weekend pathways may take longer.

Yes. You may select an individual sublevel or choose a longer pathway from the available course options. Longer-pathway access is released progressively.

No. Only your current sublevel is open. The rest stay visible but locked. Your coordinator releases the next one after you complete your assessment, and nothing is ever paid for twice.

There is no compulsory bootcamp stage. Exam Mode is built into B2. French Immersion College may occasionally offer additional bootcamps for learners at suitable B1 or B2 levels who want focused preparation for TEF Canada or TCF Canada. Availability, entry level, schedule, format and fees will be announced separately for each bootcamp.

CLASSES AND SCHEDULE

Every class is taught in real time by a tutor, never pre-recorded. Recordings of your own stream’s sessions are available afterwards, but the class itself is always live.

You can watch the recording of your own stream’s session, available for up to 90 days. Recordings support continuity but do not replace live-attendance requirements. Attendance is recorded after every class, so speak to your coordinator if you expect to miss several.

The intensive weekday pathway runs up to five live classes each week and is the faster route. The flexible weekend pathway covers the same levels, materials and support over a longer calendar period, and suits learners balancing work, school or family.

A stream is confirmed once enough learners have reserved a place. Your payment holds your seat while it forms, and the timetable is fixed once it confirms.

PAYMENT AND ENROLMENT

The registration fee is ₦15,000. It is currently ₦0 as a promotion. The promotional amount is shown on every course option.

Payment is taken in Nigerian naira through a secure online checkout.
Card payments are accepted, including international cards where
approved.

FRENCH AND CANADA

No. French adds CRS points or can help an eligible candidate meet the language requirement for certain pathways, though it does not guarantee permanent residence because individual situations vary. Our registered Canadian immigration partner can answer specialised questions.

We partner with a registered Canadian immigration consultant for specialised services where a candidate needs them. The school provides French-language education and links to public information.

French may broaden the French-language and bilingual programmes a learner can consider. Scholarships and admissions depend on the institution, programme and applicant eligibility.
