French Immersion College teaches French to adults in Nigeria who need it for a reason. Many of our learners are working towards TEF Canada or TCF Canada and a Canadian pathway. Everything about how we teach follows from that.
Learning French as an adult means entering a new language and culture while work, family and everyday life may continue entirely in English. Our structure is designed to make that possible.
Every class is taught in real time by a tutor. A fixed weekly rhythm keeps French a consistent part of a full adult life, rather than something you return to when there is time.
Weekday and weekend streams, and recordings of your own stream available for up to 90 days, so work and family commitments do not end your progress.
You learn alongside adults with similar goals who practise together, exchange experiences and motivate one another, with a coordinator following your progress.
Immersion here means regular contact with the language in a live room, with people who expect you to speak. Confidence is built session by session, in all four abilities, at a pace that stays realistic.
